Award-winning harmonica player Cheryl Arena captivates audiences with her sultry voice, high energy, and exceptional musicianship. A talented songwriter, vocalist, and harmonica player, Cheryl started her journey into the blues in 1987 in Boston. Her early love for music began with her mother’s Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday records, but she found her true passion with the harmonica. By 1991, she had gone full-time as a musician, hosting jam sessions and showcases in Boston before hitting the road. Cheryl has toured extensively, sharing the stage with blues legends like Jr. Wells, Charlie Musselwhite, and Ronnie Earl. Her critically acclaimed album Blues Got Me features original songs and was produced by Duke Robillard. She also teaches harmonica workshops, sharing her passion with others.
